Robin Morgan

Robin Morgan is a stand-up comedian, writer, and actor based in Cardiff. In 2016, he was awarded the BBC Comedy Contract Writer Bursary and was included on the BBC New Talent Hot List 2017.

His writing credits include HELLO AMERICA (Quibi), HAVE I GOT NEWS FOR YOU (BBC), THE MASH REPORT (BBC), NEWZOIDS (ITV), THE NEWS QUIZ (BBC Radio 4), ELLIE TAYLOR’S SAFE SPACE (BBC Radio 4), the 2019 MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS (EMAs), YESTERDAY, TODAY AND THE DAY BEFORE (Comedy Central), BLIND DATE (Channel 5) and CLASS DISMISSED (CBBC).

He wrote and starred in two series of his own sitcom RELOCATION and the standup special ROBIN MORGAN: PROPOSES, both broadcast on BBC Radio Wales.

Robin regularly appears at the UK’s top comedy clubs and festivals, as both an act and an MC. His debut Edinburgh hour FREE MAN was met with rave reviews, including a 4-star nod from the Sunday Times, and was included on numerous ‘Best Jokes of the Fringe’ lists, as have his follow-up shows HONEYMOON and most recently, WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MAN, WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN (SAY IT AGAIN NOW), which he’s set to take on his first UK tour in 2021. He’s been referred to as “Utterly hilarious – a phenomenal comic!” by Broadway Baby, and “Wonderfully cheeky and engaging” by Three Weeks. He has also done studio warm-ups for several shows including THE GRAHAM NORTON SHOW (BBC 1), BLIND DATE (C5) and DON’T MAKE ME LAUGH (BBC Radio 4).

He has appeared as a panellist on MOCK THE WEEK (BBC) and THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK (CBBC).
